Old shirt rehabilitated!

I loved using HTV (Heat transfer vinyl) so much last night that I wanted to explore more and try layering! Seriously, this almost took the life of me! I WAS SOOOOO SCARED! So I took my son's old white shirt, and tried one of Little Mr. and Mrs. collection I have from the silhouette online store!

As you can see, I only used two colors (black and yellow). First, my HTVs came all the way from the states so I'm kinda saving them hahahahha (although I found a local supplier here but have yet to try the quality) and second, well.. I WAS SUPER SCARED! But I'm happy with how it turned out! I didn't expect it to be that cute! I can't wait to make more. I think my son has a few more plain white shirts! Like a dozen?! hahahahah

HTV.. my first try!

Ever since I got my Silhouette SD, I've been eyeing to buy lots of HTVs or Heat transfer vinyl to customize my own shirts. But since it looked too complicated and well, scary... I ended up playing with the regular vinyl sticker you use on cars, walls or the likes. Then last year, my husband decided he's going to give me a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas! And since he's flying to the states, I jumped and took advantage of the opportunity and hoarded me lots of htvs from Expressions Vinyl! I got my loot Feb 2012.... and tonight, I take that leap of faith and give this HTV a try.

The file I used is from the Silhouette Online store. It's so easy! It looks complicated but I can't believe how easy it was to make! I can't wait to make more!!!!

Wobble Wednesday's Challenge

It was only last night that I came across this site. The first time I heard about Action Wobbles was when my "idol" Jin Yong used it when she showcased the latest Nancy Kubo sets on Lettering Delights. I instantly fell in love and went to Amazon to purchase a 100-pc pack! So just imagine my excitement when I learned about Wobble Wednesday's Challenge!!! And this week's challenge is really awesome since it's baby-themed! And talk about perfect timing, my best friend just gave birth a few weeks ago!

Here is my first (hopefully not the last) entry for this weeks challenge:

I used Echo Park's Bundle of joy digital papers, Kay Miller's Babycakes digital kit, shadow box from silhouette  online store, and my beloved Silhouette SD cutter....
